What's a "Walk-Through?"
A walk-through is the solution to a common problem. You find a boat online that catches your interest, but the boat is located too far away to go see without spending significant time and money to do so. You'd like a little more information on the boat before planning a trip to see it, or committing to a full survey.
For a walk-through, I go to the boat armed with a camera and a checklist that includes specific concerns or questions you may have. I spend about an hour on the boat, email photos to you, and go over the photos and findings over the phone. This is not a survey, and doesn't replace a full survey, but it can give you an idea of whether the boat is worth pursuing further.
Walk-throughs are billed on an hourly basis. If we then move forward with a full survey on the boat, half of the cost of the walk-through is deducted from the cost of the survey.
