1984 Kirie Elite 32 Pre-Purchase Survey
This design from France has an impressive interior for a 32 ft. boat. The chainplates use tie rods to attach to knees behind the settees, rather than to the main bulkhead, and this allows the main bulkhead to move forward. The result is an interior with an aft head & quarterberth, full galley & nav station, and full settees & dinette. The only compromise is in the size of the V berth, which is on the smaller side. The boats have solid glass hulls, cored decks, iron keels, laminated wood rudders, and deck-stepped masts. They're an interesting approach to a tricky size range for a cruising boat.
