Tayana 37 Pre-Sale Walk-Through
Tayana 37's are impressive cruising machines - heavily built and fully equipped for the job. Though I am biased, being in the surveying business, I think this owner is took a very smart approach to preparing his boat for sale.
While it's more common to perform walk-throughs for potential buyers, this owner used a walk-through to give him a work list to use in preparing the boat for sale. When selling a boat, the reality is that the customer is going to inspect it, and then a surveyor will be onboard. Why not identify and fix clear issues before they discourage a buyer? The surveyor is going to find them anyway . . .
While I can't comment specifically on this boat, the design, layout (which can vary a bit), and construction of the Tayana 37 is impressive. This design isn't going to break speed records, but it has all the makings of a solid, well conceived blue-water cruiser.
